Who is the session for?

This session is suitable for professionals and leaders at all levels. It has been developed with members of Parks and Recreation Ontario in mind, informed by insights from the Schulich x PRO Needs Assessment conducted by Megan Mitchell, Schulich ExecEd Faculty and Program Director of the Centre of Excellence in Innovation & Creativity.

What is the session about?

In a world defined by a rapid changes, uncertainty, and ambiguity, this workshop focuses on one core skill to hone for the future: adaptability. This immersive workshop is designed to empower leaders at all levels to not just navigate change—but to thrive in it.
Through dynamic, hands-on activities and thought-provoking discussions, this workshop examines how well you adapt to change through aspects of resilience, your motivational style towards risk, and your organization’s support for evolving the business. Participants will look at the A.C.E. Model of Adaptability, which encompasses a person’s Ability (how you adapt), their Character (who adapts), and their Environment (the conditions that affect when we adapt.)
Delivered as part of the PRO Expedition 2025, this workshop offers a compelling blend of research-backed insights and practical strategies tailored for the Parks and Recreation sector.
