This session explores the difference between what is booked, what is available, and what is truly utilized. Participants will examine prime and non-prime usage, internal and external bookings, unique users, day-of-week and time-of-day trends, online booking behaviour, amendments, cancellations, and year-over-year changes. The session also covers availability analysis, cost recovery metrics, and how to understand demand that never shows up neatly in a report, such as turned-away requests and informal inquiries. Together, the two sessions give you a practical toolkit for asking better questions of your program and facility data. No advanced analytics platform required: just better questions, better spreadsheets, and fewer mystery tabs.
